DoohanIT ("we", "our", or "us") built the Sound Meter Pro app (the "App") as a freemium application. This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.
The App uses the device's microphone solely for the purpose of measuring ambient sound levels in real time. We do not record, store, or transmit any audio data to external servers. All sound measurements are processed locally on your device.
Measurement history (decibel readings, timestamps) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage and is never uploaded to any server.
The App requires access to your device's microphone to measure sound levels. This permission is used exclusively for real-time decibel measurement. No audio recordings are made, saved, or shared.
The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

If you choose to subscribe to the Pro version, payment is processed through Google Play. We do not directly collect or store any payment or financial information.
Measurement data is stored only on your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data. We do not retain any user data on external servers.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Sound Meter Pro is designed for informational and reference purposes only. The decibel readings provided by this App should not be used as a substitute for professional-grade sound measurement equipment. Accuracy may vary depending on your device's microphone hardware. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on the App's readings.
